DIRECT MARKETING CONSULTANT

Charlie's primary responsibility is to provide direct mail/direct marketing consultative assistance to Excalibur clients. This includes planning, budgeting, targeting, list rental, segmentation, testing, tracking on a strategic or tactical level.

Charlie has a BBA in Marketing from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from Wake Forest University. He spent 18 years at Sara Lee Direct in Winston-Salem as Director of Marketing in both Catalog and Retail Divisions and as Director of Strategic Planning for Retail. He had full responsibility for the Fuller Brush mail order program and managed all Marketing and Direct Mail activities for Sara Lee's outlet store group with three chains and 300 stores. Charlie then spent time in a database consultative selling role at Abacus Direct, a division of DoubleClick, and at PETsMART Direct where he developed an electronic kiosk channel of distribution. He has been in direct mail/marketing/printing for 23 years.
